As an initiator of ii2030, Christina has been engaged in most editions, often with a focus on smallholder agriculture. Themes included remote sensing, precision agriculture, dynamic agroforestry and carbon capture in soil.
Dr. Christina Tewes-Gradl is an experienced facilitator of systems innovation processes. An economist by training, she focuses on the incentives that motivate diverse players to reach a collective goal. Her approach is informed by Theory U, Generative Facilitation, Systems Practice and Design Thinking, as well as systemic and hypnosystemic consulting. She is particularly passionate about a regenerative and inclusive food system.
